MHS STUCO Executive Council

The official head of the Student Council. The president presides at all meetings of the council and carry out the regulations and policies adopted by the Student Council. The president will also preside over the executive meetings and create the Student Council agenda with recommendations from the Executive Board.

The Recordkeeper maintains accurate minutes and records of all Student Council meetings. They ensure order, track member points, and rule on questions of procedure. The Recordkeeper also presents finance reports to officers, updates advisors on budget matters, and helps with initial dues collection and scheduling food trucks.

The Vice President of Engagement supports member welfare and involvement in Student Council. They assist the president as needed and serve as acting president in their absence alongside the VP of Committees. The VP also communicates meeting dates and times to members and serves as the D8 Officer (see details).

The Publicist will keep a digital album of the Student Council activities throughout the year and be responsible for any photographing needs. She/he will also handle the public relations on an as needed basis. The Student Council publicist will create graphics for all Student Council related events, food sales, and be responsible for maintaining socials.

The Vice President of Committees supports Student Council operations by assisting the president and serving as acting president when needed alongside the VP of Engagement. They inform members of meeting dates, oversee all committees and their work, and coordinate BEAST Week hall decorating and socials.

The BEAST Week Publicist will keep a digital album of the Student Council activities throughout the year and be responsible for any photographing needs. She/he will also handle the public relations on an as needed basis. The BEAST Week publicist will be responsible for creating graphics for all BEAST Week events, food sales, and any other important events.
